Kidrobot has added designs from France's hottest artists. The French art scene left a lasting impression on 2007 with an explosion of new and upcoming talent making their mark on contemporary culture. A variety of artists rocked Dunny in this new series. 123 Klan, SKWAK, Tilt, SUPERDEUX and MIST are just a few of the artists chosen to collaborate on this new series.

Reality Art

I was wondering when this was going to happen... they are aparently putting a reality show together for visual art.
Sarah Jessica Parker, who I, and every other girl who has ever watched Sex and the City adores, is set to lend her name to an upcoming reality TV competition for aspiring artists. Pretty Matches, the actress' production firm, has teamed up with the producers behind hit U.S. reality programmes Top Chef and Project Runway for a series that will see 12 visual artists tackle different disciplines - such as sculpting and painting - for the chance to win a gallery show, cash prize and a sponsored tour around the U.S.
The as-yet-untitled series will feature a panel of the world's top art critics, who will rate the contestants' work.

It will probably be crap- but who knows. I guess it will take me getting a tv at some point to find out.

Postsecret has been around for a while, and has put out several successful books; its attraction is strange. Most of the anonyms entries are certainly not uplifting, but there is a universal quality to these private thoughts, as well as a shared urge to express our selves about things that may fell taboo. Do we enjoy learning about eachothers pain, or perhaps does it just lesson our own?

LamsfuB

German artist Ulrich LambsfuB (b. 1971) is amazing. His brush work is thick and expressive, yet precise. His imagery is explosive, though he is apparently more interested in the reproduction of the images he works from, giving the paintings a traditional feel.

Kara Walker

Kara Walker (b. 1969) is a contemporary artist who deals with African American sterio types. She is amazingly innovative, and has had shows in the Whitney, MOMA, and the Guggenheim. Very Impressive!
